This Cashin Carry 22 is part of the Coach Pride Collection, a celebration of equality, diversity, and authentic self-expression within the LGBTQIA+ community this month and every month. Paying tribute to two legendary gay and lesbian summer resort communities on Fire Island, NY, near New York City, the tote features a graphic inspired by The Belvedere Guest House, a chateau-like villa and palatial fun house established in 1957 in Cherry Grove on Fire Island, NY; Cherry’s, a bayfront bar and restaurant in Cherry Grove known for D.J.s, dancing and lively drag shows under the famous red and white-striped big top; The Tea Dance, an afternoon see-and-be-seen dance party event first held in 1966 at The Blue Whale, a waterfront bar and eatery located in The Pines; or Pines Pantry, the beloved one-stop grocery store and emporium in the oceanfront oasis. Based on the iconic 1969 "Cashin Carry" from our first lead designer, Bonnie Cashin, this namesake design features an open compartment with multifunction pockets for small accessories and an easy magnetic closure. Carry by the top handles or attach the adjustable strap to wear on the shoulder or crossbody.
