Maddy Hobo

I purchased the Maddy Hobo for its simple design and convertible strap options. The only branding is the removable hangtag, strap hardware toggles and the creed patch on the removable pouch. I like that I can use the short, long or an alternate strap. It has one big open space without any interior pockets. However, I like to use wristlets/cases and the interior isn't so dark as to create a black hole effect. The one downside is that the glovetanned leather does not feel like the glovetanned leather on the 1941 bags to me. It could be that the faux suede lining is providing a different overall feel. The Maddy Hobo almost feels like it should be an outlet version of a boutique/retail store bag. I like the bag and plan to use it for work and casual wear. Its blank canvas allows me to accessorize with bag charms, scarves, or simply leave as is. At such a great sales price, I may need to acquire another one!

Feel like Audrey Hepburn in a movie - so classy and classic. Own your style. Tho I love the pin mount COACH logo, it's nice to sometimes carry a bag that looks mysteriously classy without advertising. I got the boysenberry, but the chalk is also a great choice! The leather is wonderful and true Coach quality - even has a dust bag. Fabric lining on the enclosed pouch, but the bag lining appears to be double faced leather - and then there's that secret tiny script on the bottom - GENUINE GLOVETANNED LEATHER. Some have complained about the stitching color - but since the bag is simple, this just adds to its design. Really love it!

The color of this bag is so much better in person! It's deeper in color vs. what is represented on the Coach site. Elegant, understated, this bag will get a lot of use!

I love that it can be worn cross body or carried grab and go and it also comes with a nice pouch that hooks onto the inside of the purse. The photos read more bright purple, In person, it is more a deep reddish maroon with a contrast stitching of lavender. It's quite tasteful -- less grape-like. If you love the style and versatility and like the darker Coach reds, don't be afraid to try it.

I purchased this bag simply for the Boysenberry color. I love the color and the bag. The leather looks great and smells great. The bag is understated not a lot of bells and whistles just a great bag. I added a chain from my Cassie 19. I looks even better. the bag came quickly packaged very well. I am glad I gave Maddy a try.

First, the color on the website is misleading, it makes the purse look like it is a deep purple when in fact it is boysenberry. Having said that, this is an absolutely well-made, beautifully constructed purse reminiscent of the early Coach purses of the 90's. I absolutely love it, and wouldn't consider parting with it.
